KOMPSAT 2 ORR

KSAT has started Kompsat 2 Data reception and processing has started. After the successful Operational Readiness Review ORR on  August 5, KSAT has now started to routinely receive, process and analyse data from the Kompsat 2 satellite. Kompsat 2 is owned and operated by the the Korean Aerospace Research Institute, KARI.

Kompsat 2 data is received  under a contract with the European Space Agency, ESRIN, where also Spot Image (SISA) of Toulouse and KARI participates. KSAT will deliver data to European category 1 user and may be ordered by ESA through their web service.
