SERVICE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Due to continuous growth Kongsberg Satellite Services are looking for a new Service Development Manager to join the department for development of new products and services.

The are two main aspects with the position:

Service development:   Development of near real-time services in close cooperation with key users. Today, services based on monitoring of the marine environment are given priority.

Project management:   Participating and/or leading various national and international development projects.

You will hold at least a Masters degree in a relevant subject (remote sensing, environmental services, business management etc), documented knowledge and/or experience from project management, together with experience and interests in exploiting satellite data for operational use.

You will be equally comfortable working on your own or in a team. A “can do” positive attitude is essential, together with a sense of humour and be able to communicate in written and spoken English. The position is located in Tromsø, Norway, but the majority of our business is international and therefore you will be required to travel.
