MDA and KSAT Operational Readiness Review for data delivery to GMES Successfully Passed

KSAT and The MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) has successfully completed the first phase of the interface development activities with ESA' Coordinated Data Access system (CDS). This means that KSAT and MDA is now able to deliver Radarsat-2 products and metadata to ESA GMES Service Projects.

The three main GMES project activities that KSAT currently serves are; Regional Sea Ice Monitoring in Baltic Sea, Regional Sea Ice Monitoring in Southern Greenland Waters and Sea Ice Monitoring in Eurartic 1.

KSAT and MDA is the very first GMES Contributing Mission to achieve the Operations Readiness Review milestone.
