Organizational changes at Kongsberg Satellite Services
Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT) is growing and has therefore made a few changes to the organization. Customer focus and cost efficient operations are always key parameters for a service provider as KSAT.
Acquisition and processing, including network operation, service deliveries and engineering are gathered under Arnulf Kjeldsen who is promoted to Chief Operation Officer (COO) at KSAT.
The sales, marketing and business development department is restructured to handle the increased work load and to ensure the same customer dedication as before. Arild Jose Jensen and Marte Indregard, who has just returned from her stay at the EU Joint Research Center (JRC), will resume new positions as Director of Sales and Marketing and team leaders for the network services and Earth observations sales teams respectively.
At KSAT Svalbard Satellite Station (SvalSat), Sten Christian Pedersen is promoted to Station Manager and will resume the tasks and responsibilities formally held by Reidar Norheim, who has decided to move down to the mainland after 8 years at the Island in the Arctic.
Reidar Norheim will resume his position as VP Infrastructure and Hosting Services and he will also be Station Manager for the KSAT Antarctica station, TrollSat.
Ongoing operations, customer relations and projects will off course not be affected with these changes. We look forward to continue the world class services.
