Cooperation agreement between KSAT and University of Tromsø, Faculty of Science and Technology

KSAT (Kongsberg satellite Services) has recently signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Tromsø, Faculty of Science and Technology.

The aim of this agreement is to strengthen the cooperation between KSAT and the University.

KSAT has interests in developing the operational use of the available satellite data, in particular from the Northern regions.

The Physics Department at the University research activities focus on new and advanced techniques to extract information from this and the next generation satellites.

By working more closely together KSAT will provide the satellite data and the University the methods that can become the new or improved services at KSAT.
