Kristine Stiansen Neset (image below) has been appointed Station Manager at KSAT's satellite ground station in Svalbard. She brings more than 25 years of leadership experience from the technology and consulting industries.
She joins KSAT from Capgemini, where she held senior leadership positions with responsibility for business performance across the Nordic region, managed large service delivery organizations, and developed strategic customer relationships in both the public and private sectors.
Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience working with critical infrastructure customers and services, where requirements for security, quality, availability, and operational resilience are exceptionally high. Neset is known for combining strong business acumen with the ability to build high-performing organizations, develop leaders, and drive sustainable growth through change, innovation, and focused execution.
"I have always been passionate about developing both people and businesses, and I am motivated by new challenges. The combination of an exciting leadership role, advanced technology, the space industry, and Svalbard made this an opportunity I simply couldn't pass up," says Neset.
As Station Manager, she will be responsible for operations at KSAT's satellite ground station in Svalbard, which has approximately 40 employees.

"I look forward to getting to know the team, learning more about the operations, and contributing to the continued development of the station," she says.
Neset is relocating from Sandefjord to Svalbard with her family. She is also looking forward to becoming part of the local community in Longyearbyen.
"We were fascinated by the archipelago when we visited. It is a truly unique community, and we are excited to become part of it and contribute wherever we can," says Neset.
Neset takes up her new position on 1 November.
