KSAT in the final Top 3 for the Export Award 2020

KSAT is one of the Top 3 finalists for the National Export Award 2020. The Minister of Trade and Industry will meet the companies and present the award this week.

The Export Award 2020 (Eksportprisen) is honouring innovative export businesses that can show success over time, creating value in Norway through activities in international markets. KSAT has made it to Top 3 from more than 100 nominated companies.

We are proud of this nomination and what we have achieved together" Says Rolf Skatteboe, CEO and President of KSAT. "KSAT is a Norwegian company that started from nothing that has grown into a market-leader in the international space industry" .

He continues: "Our industry has experienced tremendous change and growth the last few years. We have succeeded in adjusting, innovating and investing at exactly the right time, thus winning large market shares in a new and rapidly growing global super-commercial market segment.

In the final we are accompagnied by industry group Borregaard and Navtor, a leading provider of e-navigation solutions. The Export Conference 2020 was supposed to take place in March in Oslo, but due to Covid-19, the conference was cancelled and the Award ceremony will instead be held without audience this week. The Minister of Trade and Industry Iselin Nybø will present the award.

KSAT has 24 ground station sites around the world for satellite data reception, Svalbard is the world´s largest and uniquely located at 78´North.
