The 35th Annual Small Satellite Conference starts August 7th and will explore the realm of the possible in new space mission operations and autonomy enablers that will drive the speed of information exchange.
KSAT supports this important conference for the smallsat industry and will be virtually present.
Where to meet us at Smallsat:
Come and visit us in the virtual exhibit hall to learn more about KSAT and KSATlite, our cost-efficient and standardized ground network service optimized for small satellites and easy constellation management.
At our booth you can download content, watch videos and chat with members in our team. Our virtual booth will be active at the following times (US Mountain Time):
Monday: 10:00 to 12:00
Tuesday: 12:00 to 2:00
Wednesday: 12:00 to 4:00
Make sure to catch Stian Mækelæ, Director of operations at KSAT who will give an introduction to KSAT lite and demonstrate our user portal for easy constellations management.
The demonstration will be available at our virtual booth
Live panel: ELSA-d Breaking New Ground for On-Orbit Servicing
Presented by Astroscale and Ground Station Partners
KSAT Head of U.S. Sales, Dan Adams will speak on this panel, focusing on the ground segment solution for ELSA-d mission.
Tuesday 10th August at 08:00am US mountain time / 15:00 UK time
Chair and Moderator: Alexandra Gravereaux, Senior Ground Systems Engineer, Astroscale UK
Panelists: Brian Priar SSC, Dan Adams KSAT, Brad Code Atlas and John Williams, ViaSat
“Astroscale launched the world’s first commercial demonstration mission to showcase the technology needed to remove space debris in LEO in March 2021. Astroscale and their ground segment partners would like to share the latest ground station innovations, lessons learned, and consider how these ground station capabilities and technologies might be applied to future space sustainability on-orbit servicing programs.
Supporting Stokes Nature Center
Every year the KSAT team looks forward to attending the SmallSat conference and visiting our friends at the Stokes Nature Center.
Over the last 5 years, we have built a relationship with Stokes that started based on a shared vision for protecting local ecosystems, promoting science-based education, and helping foster a renewed sense of stewardship in our home planet.
Although not able to visit in person, we continue to support to the nature center and their education programs.
Don’t miss the Canyon Conversations where our EO expert Charlotte Bishop chats with Director of Education Patrick Kelly from Stokes about how satellite data can help us answer questions about our planet.
KSAT is the leading provider of Ground Network and Earth Observation Services, connecting space and earth. We’re operating more than 200 antennas world-wide on 25 locations.
KSATlite is our cost-efficient and standardized service, providing reliable and secure on-demand access to a network designed for small satellites and easy constellation management.
KSATlite’s flexible software defined ground radio network allow us to support all the major standards for satellites and launch vehicle communications. All ground resources are available through a single interface, allowing our customers to automate their operations, enabling all satellite missions to access an innovative, flexible and cost-optimized ground station network.
We continue to explore new technologies that will impact the future satellite operations from LEO to Lunar and beyond.
